Serial thieves arrested

Two men suspected of a spate of thefts have been arrested, Bangkok police said on Tuesday.

Metropolitan Police Bureau chief Pol Lt Gen Kamronwit Thupkrachang  announced the apprehension of Nanthachai Samrith, 22, and Ruchithep Ngamphakphum, 21, at police headquarters.

He told reporters that Mr Nanthachai was stopped by a police patrol in Bangkok Yai district overnight for driving a motorcycle without a licence plate.
