The Embassy of Finland in Bangkok serves Finnish citizens visiting or residing in Thailand in matters within the scope of the Consular Services Act. The embassy also helps Finnish citizens with such matters as securing passports and other official documents, assists those in distress and offers assistance with legal issues concerning military service, citizenship or notarial services.
The embassy also provides visa services for visitors to Finland.
Other important tasks of the embassy are the development of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the side-accreditation countries, maintenance of contacts between the governments, the authorities, the civil societies and other parties, and the promotion of trade, investment and cultural exchanges.
